First Steps towards a Tailored LLM for Greek and Latin Scientific Texts is a hybrid, hands-on workshop exploring how large language models can be adapted to the specific needs of classical and historical scholarship. Taking place on March 6, 2026 (11:30–13:00 CET) as part of the Historical Languages and AI conference, organized by the Daidalos Projekt (HU Berlin), the workshop will be held at the Grimm Zentrum University Library (Berlin), with online participation available.
No technical background is required. All materials will be provided, and participants are welcome to bring texts from their own research, including Byzantine, medieval, or early modern Greek and Latin sources. Registration is free but required via the conference website; places are limited.
