Text Research

I am a MA student in the Classics Department at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a research assistant at ATOLMY. As part of my studies and my work for the project, I concentrate on Aristotelian biology. I try to situate his description of the nutritive system within the larger framework of Aristotle’s philosophy of nature. I am fascinated by the intersection between the scientific and the philosophical enterprises of ancient Greek and Roman thinkers. Being a student of the Classics department, however, means that nothing in the textual and intellectual heritage of the ancient world is outside my field of interest.

In my free time I practice Ashtanga Yoga, teach Sunday School, and try to be in touch with developments in contemporary analytic philosophy.
